The Official Song of Cybersecurity : Ateh Bazor and Co add another pillar to the cause across music

As part of the National Campaign to Promote the Culture of Cybersecurity and Raise Awareness on the Responsible use of Social Media, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng, on October 13th 2021,

at the conference hall of the ancillary building of her ministerial department, presided over the presentation ceremony of the official song of the said campaign. 

According to the Minister, the song is a rallying one, that will become an important marker of the development of the campaign against cyber crimes and the misuse of social media. It aims at convincing the public to join the cause, by revealing the realities, denouncing the evils and conveying a message of hope reason why the song touches the sensitivity of those who listen to it and brings them to consciousness.

The piece which is an initiative of Mr. ATEH Francis Ngong aka Ateh Bazore (Goodwill Ambassador) of Cybersecurity in collaboration with SANZY VIANY (Goodwill Ambassador), Annie ANZOUER and ISNEBO is made up of five (5) stanzas and a chorus.

In expressing his gratitude to Her Excellency for the previlege accorded him, Ateh Bazore reveals that the inspiration of the song entitled " Stop Cyber Crime", stems from the last campaign in Bertoua where he felt the urge to add another style in the dissemination of  the message while hopping it will go a long way in strengthening the pillar of the fight.

In the presence of the Minister of Women's Empowerment and the Family, Marie Thérèse Abena Ondoa, Minister of Social Affairs, NGUENE née KENDECK Pauline Irene, the Director General of ANTIC Mr. Ebot Ebot Enow, representatives of other ministerial departments, a host of journalist, Minette Libom Li Likeng seized the opportunity to once more enlighten the audience on the raison d'être of the campaign as well as the journey covered so far.

A word to a wise is sufficient", found in the sensitization song comes only to emphasise on the benefits and dangers lirking every user of the social media without exception. For this reason, the P&T boss invited all to rally in the struggle by vulgarising the song in a bid to set up a National Coalition for the promotion of a civic use of social media.
