Today Monday December 4, 2017, Mr. Joseph Nsongan Etung, on behalf of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications is presiding at the opening ceremony of the Second Training Workshop on Operational Readiness for E-commerce

organized by the Universal Postal Union (UPU) in collaboration with the Pan-African Postal Union (PAPU).

This training workshop scheduled to take place from 04-08 December 2017 at the Data center of CAMPOST in Yaoundé, will see the participation of about fifty (50) actors in the Postal sector from nineteen (19) different countries.

This training workshop on operational readiness for E-Commerce, terminal dues system and quality of service fund of French speaking African posts is organized in a bid to “improving the interoperability of network infrastructure through service quality, the efficiency and security of logistics chains, the establishment of standards and information and communication technologies as well as the rationalisation of operational processes and regulations.” 

This second workshop has been organised as a follow up of the first which took place in June 2016 at the National Advanced School of Posts Telecommunications and ICTs (SUP’PTIC), Yaoundé.
