THE DEPARTMENT OF POSTAL ACTIVITIES REGULATION AND MONITORING
Under the authority of a Director, the Department of Postal Activities Regulation and Monitoring shall be responsible for: − Verifying, executing and ensuring the continuity of public service missions in the postal sector; − Verifying the access to networks opened to the public in objective, transparent and non discriminatory conditions; − Monitoring the implementation of Concession agreements and authorizations; − Laying down technical modalities and conditions for the issuance of authorizations to set up and/or operate a postal network; − Laying down technical modalities and conditions for postal services provision;
− Laying down technical modalities and conditions for the issuance of declaration receipts; − Defining services pricing principles; − Defining postal services pricing principles and rules; − Laying down financing conditions for the universal postal service obligation; − Monitory postal activities.
It shall comprise: − The Sub-Department of Postal Activities Regulation; − The Control Brigade.
