From December 14 – 15, 2017, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li Likeng presided over the 3rd session of the Public – Private Permanent Consultation Forum (CPPT) for the posts and telecommunications sector,
organized under the theme:“The imperative of quality of service in the telecommunications domain: the urgent need for a collective mobilisation”.
This third session of the consultation forum - CPPT comes after two previous sessions in Douala and Yaoundé in 2016. The Public – Private Permanent Consultation Forum (CPPT) is a platform for consultation and dialogue between the Government, companies in the posts and telecommunications sector as well as representatives of the civil society. The CPPT was created to improve the performance of the posts and telecommunications sector so that it can play its role as a catalyst for economic development and to ensure the establishment of an environment which is conducive for the implementation of win-win partnerships for the facilitation of universal access to good quality and affordable electronic communication services.
This third session of the CPPT which closes today December 15 has participants from companies and institutions under the Ministry’s supervision, private operators in the posts and electronic communications sector, as well as representatives of the civil society have been invited to this consultation forum.
